The Justin Simmons Foundation is dedicated to mentoring young people, promoting the benefits of youth sports, supporting youth education and other charitable initiatives. It was established in 2020 by Denver Broncos safety Justin Simmons and his wife Taryn.
Justin Simmons was a standout student-athlete at Martin County High School in South Florida. After high school, he enrolled at Boston College where he majored in communication and excelled on the football field and in the classroom.
The Denver Broncos drafted Justin in the 2016 NFL Draft. Since entering the league, Justin has remained an impact player on defense; he has played every defensive snap for the past two years. His presence in the community has been just as consistent. In 2019, the Broncos reported he contributed more than 3,500 minutes with 20 different local organizations focusing on youth development, hunger relief, health & wellness, youth football and civic engagement. Justin was recognized in 2019 as a Walter Payton Man of the Year nominee.
